Yard Sale Burglary

Yard Sale Burglary

my chores salary is $2 weekly.
I organize a yard sale to
supplement my bank account.

decluttering
organizing
advertizing
price-tagging
setting-up-ing
selling

Snotter,  a neighbor
and fellow sixth-grader
sticks his greedy hand
into the money till
stealing yard sale dough.

he runs, I run,
I jump, he drops
tackled to the grass the
weasel squeals "Let me go!"
he resists and I
punch, punch, punch...

the stolen profits in closed fist
reluctantly complies via
the punching closed fist,
the bank account
supplement achieved.
