Tree of life, remember who you are 
Allow that golden glitter to run throughout your barks,in your very veins. 
It once took up residence in you and I hope it’s still there, 
Somewhere 

Others say you’re leafless and lifeless 
But how can that be? 
You still have a few leaves that held on 
Nevertheless 

Destin to death they see 
But no, not me 
I see strength to carry on 
I see hope 
And scars that remain 
Unexplained 

I’ve seen every look you ever wore 
This is by far the scariest for sure 
Just remember who you are 
You can prove them wrong 
You are strong.
