Poem -

Yin☯️Yang

Yin☯️Yang

No good deed goes unpunished, so the path to my demise is littered with the best intentions
While I pray that well wishes dont lead to animosity filled excuses
With repetitive apologies that abuses
So if premium priced attention, only affords short comings as reward
I'll make the most of my borrowed misfortunes
And lend ear to acquire more benefits
To live out life decisions
Hoping it's positivity when I'm mentioned
Giving my blessings worth
But if not,
The birth of curses reline
In the bed I made
Coupled with the burdens of plight that lines the pillow top mattress I stay
Though, next to me lays 'Effort',
Evervascent and fertile...
Ready for growth
Yet I leave her flower pot planted
Not far from the window of the universe
Showing endless possibilities
Or displaying the blinding task of reality
That harshly criticizes
With each passing day
Through each fleeting week
Providing a much needed critique
That sculpts unique opportunities
Applying pressure til the boiling point is realized
Resulting in failure or
A royal cut diamond,
Stubbed and prestigious
Treasured
Or taken for granted
Life...
Is a mixture clear view
Clashing with lines that are slanted
A struggle for balance has us constantly praying for peace
