I have never known such beauty, as the essence which is you;
I have never known such passion, or shared love so very true!
My Soul was sad and lonely, until that magic night we met;
It had searched for half my lifetime, and its mate, at last, it would get!

The moment that I saw you, I knew you were “The One”;
I had explosions in my hungry heart, knowing something special had begun!
Our first kiss made me a promise, that there would be a million more;
I felt forgotten feelings erupting, so long had they been stored!

It took not long for our Souls to bond, and pledge love for eternity;
Now, over a quarter century later, so very happy do we be!
Our hearts and Souls inspired, by their forever loving mate;
And to think that all this started, on a long ago predestined date!
