“You need some sleep!!” 😴

I shared a bed I could not sleep

I lay awake as eyes did weep

For twenty years then twenty more with tinnitus I fought a war

My Doctor told me recently “You need some sleep, please listen to me”

So I carried my pillow and l took my gloom to lie in the bed in another room

I sleep alone in solitude

I would share his bed if I only could…
