You shine like a lantern in the cold dark woods,
You shine deep in my heart like I never knew you could,
You shine like the moon over the dark night sky,
You help me find my way with your majestic light.
You shine like a bonfire keeping my spirit warm,
You use your hands to catch my bleeding heart, while I endure this storm.
You shine like a north star you always lead the way,
Head of the big or little dipper, making sure I never get lead astray.
You shine like a firework on the fourth of July,
My eyes light up with the sight of you, you’re the apple of my eye.
You shine like the sun, your rays beam so bright,
I see my shadow as a reflection of yours its such an amazing sight.
You shine like the lights at a play on opening night,
 Like that feeling of elation and bliss, the first time you fly a kite.
You shine like distilled water filled with glycerin drops,
My leiteite, my precious stone, you’re like a river of running water that never ever stops.
You shine like the lights on a Christmas tree,
You shine in my dark cold world, you lift me up, and make my life complete.
