a young wise man

With an army rising up,
Fighting for life or death,
There a wise man stood,
Young and beautiful,
But yet so smart.
With loss and brokenness,
He stood strong,
A sword through his heart,
He might be dying.
The young man’s weapons fell onto the ground,
But with arms wide open,
The wise man let goes.
Until memories of immorality
Flood through his veins,
Silence screaming out her name,
Eyes wide open,
Lying between life nor death.
Lying in between nowhere.
An angel perhaps,
Or maybe just a friend,
As the wise man might be falling for,
With dancing and laughter,
How she wore flowers in her hair,
Embracing her soul.
A voice saying,
“Be strong, I will save you.”
But as the dreamer she was,
Destiny changed its way to best,
For all to know,
She might have found what she was
Long lost looking for,
A young wise man,
Needing to be saved.
A moment so true,
A moment so pure,
A moment not to be forgotten,
A moment of afterlife,
Or a moment of life as we know it.
A second chance and everything changes,
They made it easy,
Yet fell so hard,
Hope-
Might be all they have.
There a young man stood,
Young and beautiful,
But yet too smart,
He survived!

Hi Ciska!!.......I can see that you're still learning to use English well........but..........you have created a VERY compelling narrative write here.........the kind of poetic story that goes down as fable or fairytale.......lovely ideology.........and engaging symbolism intended or not...........well done my friend..........enjoyed........ALL STARS..........keep 'em coming sister!!...........smiles..........T xo
Hi Ciska,
As brother Tony T. has wonderfully illustrated..A story of possible defeat, hope, destiny and triumph, all wrapped in one big rush of event after event...Quite naturally posessing the traits of a fabled story, inwhich makes the reader feel we've not heard nor seen the last of this triumphant character and with the hopes of having more of it to follow..You have allowed youself room for a..... to be continued, written all over this piece..Fable as brother Tony has discribed in its presentation but very assuringly and pleasantly told with confidence by its teller...Liked this piece...
