Your Path

Your Path

I’m on the path of the broken,
The journey that is never unspoken,
Not shown through words,
But the power of devotion,
From the demons inside,
They make me cry,
The tears that mark the skin inside,
The demons say no food today,
Maybe they’ll let you decay,
So you don’t have to suffer another day,
Your bones start to show,
They start to say,
What choices you’ve been making that day,
You lose sleep,
You're digging your grave too soon,
Too deep,
The path is chosen,
Not by you but by,
The demons who make you cry at night,
Make you want to die,
They tell you keep trying,
Trick you that you’re not dying,
When really they’re lying,
But it’s not too late,
It’s not too late to eat today,
It’s not too late to stop digging your grave,
This path is also your choice to make,
So make it to live another day,
Don’t let the demons choose your fate,
Don’t let it be too late
