Zombies in the Movie Theater

I get my ticket to the show, I get popcorn and a drink then sit down for theater time
I feel as though I am alone though I see many heads above the seats
The film begins and I have been waiting anxiously for it
It is a thriller about the living dead and my blood rushes as it begins
As the lights go off and the crowd is full capacity, a strange. thing happens.
The sounds of knawing on bones and slurping on something wet
It isn't on the screen it is in the same room with me
Then one by one the bodies begin to rise, much to my surprise they look dead
With hollow eyes, with half a face, with worms crawling from their skulls
They appear to be zombies and I am the only one, the thriller not on the screen but  next to me
As I crawl underneath tne seat and play hide and seek
Hoping and praying not a one takes a peek
The joke is on me, as the living dead has an appetite for popcorn and a movie
Though instead of them on the big screen, they want to keep me company
