Guantanamo Bay. A defense of this place I seek

I would like to say, before I continue that I, like everyone else, am appalled by acts of terror and welcome perpetrator’s to be punished to the maximum levels.
However I am a human rights activist and don’t believe that people should be harassed, persecuted and incarcerated before they have been given a fair trial and convicted accordingly.
Guantanamo Bay
Not one prisoner there has ever been given a fair trial under US law. Many have been incarcerated for over 12 years suffering torture for confession and basic human rights denied to break their spirit. The current president Obama stated in 2009 that within 12 months Guantanamo bay would close. To date the holding centre is still very much active. It is unacceptable that the U.S. government continues to hold men that its own national experts have recommended for release or transfer, and that Congress has intervened to maintain this deplorable state of affairs. The prison at Guantánamo Bay is an abominable experiment in indefinite detention, which destroys America's claim to be a nation that believes in justice The detention of 84 prisoners cleared for release, which are held because it is politically inconvenient to release them, is a disgrace.
It is not impossible to determine guilt or innocence until facts have been heard?
Never has this happened at Guantanamo Bay
The western world profess to be sickened by acts of terror……………………
Is it not an act of terror to…..
forcibly remove a person from their home and family transport them 1.000’s of miles to a different country strip them of all basic human rights torture them to gain confession Incarcerate them for years without any evidence of their crime? They live, shackled in cages for 24 hours a day They are interrogated daily for the prize of basic food and water Up to 44 detainees are forcibly strapped down each day and force-fed liquid nutrients through a nasal tube. 'We do it to preserve life,' the US say and deny the procedure is painful Medical experts have given reports to advise the procedure is painful Human rights have confirmed this procedure is against all human rights laws
There is no justification for this.
No amount of propaganda on the ‘why it is acceptable’ will change the fact that human rights issues are being ignored.
The detainees of Guantanamo Bay have a right to a fair and just trial or should be released
Even though terror attacks are hateful does that mean we just point the blame and serve sentence before any evidence is heard?
William Hague is the British Foreign Secretary and I have contacted him several times on this issue to date no response has been received. Is he a mere puppet of the US?
I must reiterate here that I do not sympathise with terrorists but neither will I agree to unjust treatment and persecution of this proportion.
If we apply an ‘eye for an eye’ then let’s makes sure we get the right eye!!!!
I would a view to challenge my view.

Tackling a very important subject matter with skill !
I follow the progress of the USA to abandon this place. It is slow and steeped in legislation. The detainees still suffer a sentence before a trail. If they have committed a crime let them be punished. But no judge has heard the evidence. Such injustice. Those responsible should be ashamed. I remain a strong voice for the human rights being violated in this way.
And Still it goes on............................ I speak as I find.................It is deplorable............ but continues
