When it came down to it, he knew what he liked. He enjoyed the company of women. He had always felt his feminine side gave him the edge but recently the " spoils of war " were even more readily available. The blossoming spring buds added to the effect. His " success rate " had hit an all time high with plenty on offer to satisfy the most hardened sceptic of " laissez-faire " ideals. The trophy cabinet was packed full of memorabilia of " conquest " !! Many had commented on his achievements of late. Especially the die-hard lesbian. Jealous, due to a poor performance level. He could smile. He could savour a hearty breakfast knowing nutrition was not being wasted.
There was his favourite " love " who had all it took to keep him entertained and fulfilled. She was a different kind of " ride ", living close to the edge expecting hell-for-leather entries into notoriety ! It was in her eyes that the soul became separated from conventional wisdom. She liked him to go " that bit further ", letting him know exactly how she admired his frame and free-spirit. She rang when he was required for service to the cause. The effect was obvious.
The buzzer sounded and he was off. Why would he not be ? Her ways defied logic and that was appealing, in any " shape or form " ! On the way, he contemplated her attire and her deep-seated passionate yearning for affection. Another good day was in the offing. This was going to be a " blast " he anticipated. With romance being heightened by voyages of discovery into the far recesses of the unusual female profile. There, all could be forgotten as " the everyday " was lost to a world lacking normal reasoning and reckoning. He lived for this.
On entering her " abode ", as the door was unlocked, he remembered the couplings they had exploited with fondness. Her " chosen " menu of fruitful escapes bearing testimony to differing experience. That, which rocked any boat, as upon " the eternal sea " !!
He called her name, heading for the most cherished spot. Where love and pain were dismissed for all manner of " mayhem. " Another quest was embarked upon to reach the " Promised Land ", so readily thought of. As was shown by today's eagerness to bring more to the location, than previously.
He turned a corner. The shot hit home. Squarely, between the eyes !
She did not enjoy it. As he did.

What a fascinating story. I took it as the man had an encounter with a woman, or many intimate encounters.

Self-explanatory, I feel !! The double-meaning always being a firm British favourite.
