Saint Terence

Saint Terence

Some said I was good praising women, others a nasty man,
but at the end of the day I have to be my/your greatest fan;
there were fourteen at the last supper, could have been me,
an onlooker who witnessed his blood and destined body.

You will go forth - whether you sow seeds or destruction,
did I not exist or was I subject to incredible imagination?
two thousand yearrs, had everything that you could ever wish,
instead, discension is cast upon blacks, jews, gypsies, Irish?

What a shame that you should be 'so,' time will be gone, wasted,
how ironic, the wonderful plan didn't work, nothing ever lasted;
diviided, but I died for my cause, not because couldn't get my way,
stupid is the man who seeks revenge - pointless we all say.

I look for goodness, I look for agreement, as God surely would,
value your life before it's taken from you, if only you really could.

Hello Terry...

Would you say it's true...

The third times a Charm?

All sounds Off...

I read it three times...

On the third...

Last line...

A huge gust of wind?

Umm...

Still standing...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...
