Abandoned

Being abandoned leaves us feeling blue,
Like we've lost a part of ourselves too.
We thought these bonds were forever strong,
But now, all we hear is silence for so long. 
The company we had once cherished and loved,
Is now replaced with emptiness that's tough.
It's hard not to feel worthless and low,
When those we trusted chose to let go. 
We're left alone with our thoughts and pain,
Wondering if we'll ever trust again. The world seems bleak,ugly and dark,
As we try to find our emotional spark. 
But know that you're not alone in this light,
We all face abandonment in life's fight.
And though it may seem like the end, We can rebuild, and start fresh again.
