A bad day
Cloudy turbulent skys full of destruction,
Clap of thunder the downpour begins,
Sandbags piled up the door,
Waves are lashing the shore,
Flooding begins to start,
The drains can't cope they overflow,
And still the deluge continues,
The sandbags not enough,
Flood water gains access,
Furniture piled up high,
The rain just doesn't care,
Flooding gets higher and on the stirs,
It's time to evacuate leave now

This is a terrible thing so well.expressed in your work Tracy, I can't imagine the horror of your home being destroyed ?
Not mine a friends in 2007 x
Poor thing...I lost a home once...home is important, I can't imagine facing the possibility of that happening repeatedly. My heart goes out to her and all the others caught up in flood areas x
Luckily its not happened since but she has the beck running through her garden and it's that what flooded. She had some water come in last yr but not much and now has had the beck dug out and widened keeping fingers crossed x
