A Brighter Land

We began dressing the ground,
Blessing our land with a winter coat,
Along with a harsher breeze that blew us with the snow.
Our river had stop its flow,
But we know this already as we glide through our land.
The wind lifted us up and we danced through the bland sky.
Heavens became nigh while wind twirled our body’s.
These colour's of green had been buried,
As our varied snowflakes dominated the land.
The wind stranded us upon the ground.
Our body’s drowned into the white.
Making the winter coats sight,
Brighter.
