A Chance Encounter ( Matthew )

I saw her there,
her face so kind,
a look of trouble,
something taking up her mind,
I stared in fear, my heartbeat high,
as she tumbled down,
And what a fool was I.
In my arms, she seemed demure,
the look of surprise on her face,
so cute and pure.
Then the fire, once tamed to hide,
roared within me,
and made me forgetful of my pride.
There was a moment,
of that I'm sure,
and something beautiful,
indeed will ensure.
I looked at her,
she looked at me,
Her skin was warming to my touch,
incrementally,
and then I saw,
ire in her eyes,
as shock and vexation
overran her surprise.
Its not the end,
but I withdrew,
maybe one day,
it'll turn to something true...

I think it's really easy to write for Matthew because this is how I feel every day around the girl I'm into. Subconscious Projection, right? : )
Hi DMITRI!......I know this feeling VERY well......I think most of us do...... you're doing a fine job with your character (Matthew)...... and you've done a great job conveying those same feelings poetically...... When you're in love, you know you're in love, no matter what you try to do..... may as well resign yourself to what you're going through!!...... Youth is a great thing and it only comes around once...... funny thing is..... most of us don't appreciate it until we're older!!.......ALL STARS!!...... well done dear poet brother!!.......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo ?✴❤
