A DOGS LIFE
Feelings emotions is it only a human conditionĀ
i wish dogsĀ could talk, tell us their position
I know when i cry my dog knows i am sadĀ
she looks at me doe eyed,Ā saying its not so bad
She snuggles close her head close to mine
licks my nose, i`m here mam you will be fine
They could tell theĀ storyĀ of your lifeĀ
times of happiness and Ā times ofĀ strife
They are a comfort and i am sure they show loveĀ
and its unconditional, they put you first your held above
Your never lonely either, always having Ā themĀ nearĀ
they protect you too if your showing fearĀ
Intruders beware! their barking means
territory this portrays its in their genes
I guess i`ve answered my own question, do dogs feel
yes they do with out doubt, the love they showĀ is very real

Of course you realize, you have struck my rawest nerve. Ā You laud all our beautiful doggies, those gorgeous creatures that capture our hearts and ensconce our souls, forever dedicated to us. Ā Their lives rotate around us. Ā Their love, as you said, "unconditional". Ā They ask only in return, for their food, walks and perpetual love. Ā What innocence, what purity. Ā What better soul to bond with, than that of ones cherished doggie.
