A FLICKER
My life is but a flicker
In Your great big galaxy
I'm just a small part
Of the greater picture, I see
In the great scheme of things
A lifetime isn't long
Life is but a flicker
You were here and then you're gone
It peaked my curiosity
I really had to know
The purpose of a flicker
In You're fantastic light show
Are we the constant changing patterns
Of lights and colors in the sky
Created to light up the world
Before we say; Goodbye?
My life is a beautiful flicker
You see; I had a change of heart
No matter what the purpose was
I came and did my part

Life passes by so quickly
Tis but a "Flicker" in history
What was our living purpose?
What were we meant to be?
Maybe the answer waits posthumus
When our questions are no more
Because if we do our part for humanity
To Heaven will we soar
