A Higher Court
Surender
to the insecurity
to the anxiety
just wade through it
Do not let it become fear
Or draw on forgone conclusions
Be open with curiosity
Let your intellect and instinct go
Do not accept the status quo
These days are awry
Some great unease and downright
dishonesty are on display
It is that we cannot trust in governments
or rich power mongers
Or celebrities
or even doctors
We must now do our homework
Dig up our own information
On life affecting concerns
It is after all our lives
So It only seems right
To be responsible'
But what about the liars?
The criminals that murdered
and profited by it....treason and
mal intent,. world banks, and financeers'
Who will examine them and hold them
to a standard.,
One set by a high court of universal
jurisdiction.

I agree with everything you say in this poem. As I get older I almost feel that I need to rise up and protest, rediscover the rebelliousness of my youth because many of the problems in the world were there in my youth like we're stuck in a revolving door. "It is after all our lives." You are so right Violet and I applaud you for writing this poem. Oh and yes we have to believe in a higher court of universal jurisdiction.
