Poem -

a love felt with ease

i wanted to scream at youΒ
if you love me why don’t you do a goddamn thing about it
but you seeΒ
i didn’t want to have to tell you what you should do
i wanted you to do it because it felt rightΒ
because you wanted toΒ
not because i told you what to feel or how to feel it
one should not have to tell another how to loveΒ
if it’s real, then what is necessary should follow naturally, with ease.Β
