A moment of insanity on a Monday

Sitting all alone
in peaceful meditation
Tearing through my silence
Comes the yell of a moms frustration
Reality falls upon me
Drowning out my serenity
Disrupting my thoughts
Like a ship swallowed up by the sea
Cell phones start ringing
More children singing
Car horns are wailing
Tires start screeching
Dogs trot by howling
Someone behind me is preaching
You stepped on my foot
Somebody yells
A man sits beside me
With many different smells
All of this confusion
Starts pouring through my head
Smelly man needs a buck
Says he needs to be fed
Billboards flashing
Two cars crashing
Sirens are blaring
Everyones staring
Mom im hungry
Another childs screaming
Wait a damn minute she says
My download is streaming
Conversations start blending
My head is throbbing
Absolutely close to surrendering
Legs start wobbling
I have to leave
This torture has consumed me
Sprinting away i relax
Under my favorite oak tree
Everything is slowing
Now losing my disgust
Hopping back in this hell
That is the city bus
