A Morning Of A Parent

It starts as soon as my little monster opens his eyes even though mine are shut and wondering why?
Why are you up before sun?
I've had enough of this day I'm already done!,
Down the stairs I plod along my little monkey is hanging on,
To the kitchen!! I Shout on through which cereal do you want no you can't have two,
Oceans of milk and juice on the floor my whole body just wants to run for the door,
Trying to wrangle these octopus arms ears ringing off this cry in alarm,
I've won this battle but the war is not over as he kicks the dog awww poor rover,
Time is ticking we're on the school run I can't believe it it's almost done,
As I wave my little monster off into school he looks like a cherub you've got nobody fooled,
I sigh and turn upon my heel is that I little bit of happiness I feel,
As I strut along with a skip in my step see nothing to worry about no need to fret.
