A Mothers love ❤️

A Mothers love ❤️

Mum you know I love you
More than words could ever say
You've been my rock, my staff, my anchor
My light to show the way
Alway fight my corner
Whatever I might have done
My confidant in troubled times
The one that alway likes my  riymes
I think you really get me
You know just how I tick
You alway show compassion
Especially  when I'm sick
I've been so very lucky
To have enjoyed the love you give
Thank you, mum, for seeing it through
It's been an honor
Being born to you
Before I go, I'll leave a kiss
As one day I know
It's you I'll miss
But if god could only love you
As much as I have done
He will know he's done the right thing
Making you to be my mum

Such a wonderful sentiment. The phrasing and imagery is exactly right - loving without being mawkish- liked this very much!
