A Passion Dream of the Flower

The lily, white, a veil of a divine virgin, smiling, pure, not yet picked, nor touched
Only by the soil, and the sun, a delicate beauty, a beginning of wonder, of marvel, of the future
Grace, in the sun rays, in the calm of the gentle wind, it holds onto a song, of desired love
Of hope, of peace, it kisses humanity, their roots grow beneath, as our feet mark, imprinting sacred territory
In bloom, they look up to the massive sky, crying out, the voice of promise, they dance with the blades of challenged grass
Elegance in every stem, cut and bundled, wrapped with purple ribbons of inspiration
Tied together, it bonds, as the worm holds onto its center, the breath of native dress
The valley rich by its life, as it caresses the aching heart, the truth of serenity, relieving stress
Giving to one another, it inspires, it is the birth to naked lovers, held close in their arms
It sends a message to the world, the fragrance of starving hunger, the hunt of the lily, the game of innocense
Bringing dreams together, to the believers, it honors, it is giving, the salt of the layers of rock and earth
The crescent peak of cream, of heavenly floating clouds, a lily, held in the hands of a bride, a kiss from the father
A bouquet arranged, a bond of flesh and blood, picked just right, adorned by eyes wide open, stunned by the sight
As I dream of love, of tomorrow, of forever, I dream of desire, a passion dream, of the flower
