A poem for my bestfriend

You look at me with sadness in your eyes,
But all I want to do is cry, 
Because that broken person I see before me,
I know you're not destined to be,
I try to do everything to wipe away your tears, 
But the thing I can't wipe away is your fears, 
Please hold on a little longer,
Our bond is strong, but with time it grows stronger,  
I love you to the moon and back,
So please don't let your brain crack, 
Because without you here, I wouldn't know what to do, 
I've known you for so long, I couldn't live without you
