A World Misunderstood

Racing thoughts, running mind,
Start life over, rewind.
Changing colors, chasing dreams,
Your voices aren't at all what they seem.
You see the demons, you know the game,
Your prize is for no one to claim.
Deep inside, you lose your mind,
Trying to change but it's all a lie,
Evil stays in you for the rest of your life,
Voices making you grab the knife.
Let it go, just let it go,
Screaming internally, while no one knows.
The paranoia stays deep inside your head,
Wishing you were someone else instead.
Bark at the dog, meow at the cat,
You're no longer normal, that's a fact.
Chasing demons is what you live for,
Wanting different, wanting more.
If you could change, you definitely would,
Because Its hard living in a world misunderstood.

Thank you very much. Yes, schizophrenics and people with bipolar disorder should remain on they're meds at all times. Without meds, it could be dangerous. I have bipolar and schizophrenia (also known as Schizoaffective Disorder) and when I'm off my meds, that leads me straight to the mental hospital. Your comment means a lot to me. Thank you!
