Acrostic of Anguish

Acrostic of Anguish

Damage dealt and I ask myself why?
Over and over
Many questions…no replies
Every day drove me insane
Silenced smiles, provoked more pain
Ten years, down the drain
Imagine if we started all over again?
Curse the thought, I’ll shed no tear
Vengeance is not welcome here
In prison, I hope you have realised
Once bitten, I am now twice shy
Lie about me, I don’t care
Every dog will get their share
Never again speak my name
Carey?...
Ejected, rejected your claim
