Agape (Teenage Insecurities)

Agape (Teenage Insecurities)

Teenage insecurities are like a curved vessel filled with freezing cold water.

And you're at the bottom.

Lifeless.

Drowning

Sometimes insecurities make you angry,

They eat away at you.

You're stuck in a rut wondering if anyone really cares about you.

You feel like every arrow points the other way.

You try and take control.

But you can never be sure if you're fully there.

It's like a cycle.

Endless.

Repetitive.

You know you're not perfect ad no-one expects you to be.

You want to show that behind the fear you have power and passion,

Ambition and motivation,

Care and kindness,

You strive to be better.

Soon, your insecurities don't matter.

You learn to love unconditionally.

You learn to enhance yourself.

Your life is agape and you mature into an adult.

With grown-up insecurities.
