All the times you cut my body

All the times you cut my body

The first time was when you broke my trust
The second, when you looked at me in disgust
The third hurt more, your words cut deeper
By the fourth, I paid a visit to the grim reaper
When I came back, so did the fifth
The sixth, when I saw who you talked with
Seven eight and nine, I don’t remember
Ten, twenty, thirty, I surrender
Fourty, maybe fifty now, I saw my letter in the trash
Crumpled up and buried, a piece of me fell in too
Slash after slash
all of these scars are from you

Are you surprised? Have you only now realized?
Do you feel busted? Or just more disgusted?
Do you feel guilty? Want to apologize to me?
Do you feel regret? Or did you already forget?
All the times you cut my body
Just to be somebody
Because you never saw blood?

Anybody, anybody
Pull me out of this mud!
There was nobody, nobody
Nobody that helped me
Come on, look here, everybody!
Look what you did to my body
