Alone

Alone

She was alone, all alone
Even in a crowd
She'd lived a life of mystery
Warped in steamy history
All her life was the outsider.

Born to abandonment
The key note of her life
Mental torture
Strangulation rife

Growing up alone
With head thoughts of her own
No tribe to call her own
No shared blood or bone

Outsider
Onlooker
Tribe-less
Dark One

She raised 3 souls alone
Who grew and left to build a home
They are her blood and bone
They are her gift to the future

She walks on alone
Observer
Onlooker
Watcher
Lost soul

Rootless tree
Blown by the winds of destiny
Prisoner of her freedom
Alone in her searching

Metaphysical quest for answers
Denied her by the warmth of a family
Mental algorythms
Designed to ameliorate the pain

She walks alone
Through the darkness
Scything down the memories
Exorcising the past

Trying to build a new reality
From a fractured past
Endeavouring to move forward
To overcome the blast

But she's shell shocked and dazed
Her mind is quite fazed
Her desire to go on
Seeping from the cracks.
