America divided

Police shoot another unarmed American man 

The debate ensues over racial motivation

The ignorance multiplies according to government plan 

Once again succeeding in dividing a nation 

Very few realize the truth isn't made known 

That even more whites were gunned down in vane 

We only see and hear what the news has shown 

What will get reaction and will entertain 

Too often it's not always just black or white 

On one hand "whites" are more commonly killed 

Although that statistic isn't entirely right.

Since the nation is primarily white filled 

By percentage "blacks" are more often gunned down 

But one other fact is conveniently overlooked 

The difference in crimes from big city to small town 

The violent or petty crimes that are more often booked 

Rape, murder and robbery make up the big city calls

Domestic violence and shoplifting in the tiny town 

From hardened cops on edge not chancing pitfalls 

To Gomer Pyle never having a perp to run down 

Large cities being largely black isn't the cause 

Crime is just more a part of every day life there

It's more expected you'll be breaking the laws

You have to act hard just to survive the affair 

Large cities turn good kids into hardened cons

Doing hard time until possibly paroled 

Our loving government uses victims as pawns 

A nation that's divided is a nation Controlled 

If there's anything you take from what I have wrote 

Don't be blinded by what you see on the news 

Don't swallow what they try to promote 

Intolerance and anger they'll gladly misuse 

We are a nation of many colors and creeds

Together this world is what we choose to create 

Let's put an end to these racist seeds

We can end the ignorance before it's too late.
