ANGEL vs DEVIL
A lways follow your heart they say, but it's hard when your head always gets in the way.
N atural instinct...always right...So why does my head continue to fight?
G o with your gut, my heart's companion.Ā Two against one, who will be the champion?
E ducated is my mind, but without my heart it is blind.
L ove and honor, my heart sees all, but without my mind it's sure to fall.
D evil and Angel must unite! So in the end I get it right.
E ventually they sort my thoughts, forgetting that they ever fought.
V eracity consumes my very being...The final resolution I am now seeing.
I s my head my heart's overseer?Ā Making sure I have nothing to fear.
L earn and love...find your balance...This is my internal parlance.

Ā It is very true what you say, there are many times that I wish I had used my head and thought more about my actions, but where matters of the heart are involved I truly believe that your heart is the stronger! Ā A lovely acrostic, particularly connected with this line
Love that 'Go with your gut, my heart's companion', so true;Ā is that why you actually get lovesick lol! Ā The more I read this Carey, the more I saw and the more I liked. Ā It rang so many bells. Ā A clever write and well penned. Ā A big vote from me:)
