Angels Death Awaits

Angels Death Awaits

Wings spread across the sky, on a stormy night of July

With every lightening bolt that strikes, another death awaits the owl

For many believe in the spirit of death, though we do not dwell its spell

Tread lightly on the waters now, be still my aching heart that sin

For now may be my time, I must give in, I will drown for I can not swim

Angels death do not take me until my final lust for life be complete

Take me after my making love is shaken by the drippings of my song

For I will not give up until my flesh be driven by the talons of the eagle

And you are there with me in my final hour of the naked dawn, so driven
