Angels of Mercy

A comet hit the earth, from a million starlight away, it smouldered the earths heart

When it cooled, the old man, the old woman, faded their faces became flawless, young

No where, was the sick, no where, was there poor, no where was their hunger, merciful

Angels, took over the land, they were formed from the aged, the death ridden, in their beds

Love came from the clouds, the comet of cupid, took shape, and it fired the arrow into the day

Into the night, it touched the disease, it touched the shamed, and gave them life to breathe

These angels of mercy, walked and took heed, they didn't just spread their wings, they took your soul and made it free

Changing life from the beginning, where man and woman, began old, and then evolved into young

Making love, taking each minute to see the little things, to find the most simple, and kissing the world

Sharing spontaneous moments, with friends far and near, the heaven became the earth, and the earth, the heaven

The knowledge of wisdom, enlarged, the world grew into one place, one entity of space

To love, to live, to share, to kiss, to have mercy, as the angels sparkling eyes of youth

Took over, made change, and made this stage, a beautiful place, as the passion of mankind grew stronger

So did the angels of mercy, caressed by the hands of time
