Apache Dreams Live

They ride their Appaloosa bareback ready to throw the arrow through the heart
A purebred Native American with strength in his soul and blood curdling pride
Fighting men as they destine to hunt them for their land the meat that they eat
Tomahawks razor sharp used to win this war of greed, their defeat will meet
Bear hides, and beaver pelts around their feet, war paint with colors of red
May the land shed it's blood for the battles never won, white and red men dead
A peace treaty ended a long time ago, now the dream catcher catches the bad thoughts from the past
The breed of the fighting man lives on through the sky, earth, mountains, the valleys vast
Let the horse drink  from the coolest of our waters and rest
The haunting dreams of the Arabian horses wandering in the night searching for lost souls
Lost souls riding painted horses above the fossils and ashes of the braves unwoven knots
Unwoven knots of the blankets that hung over the backs of the horses made by the squaws
No more the tears, no more the fears, of the last breed, only the white man's laws
Dreams live through the dream catcher now flows the spirit of respect, honor and pride
As the Apache's bare chest and painted face, fighting men
Their naked souls robbed, buried guns in the bones lay beside them
They will awaken in their land, running free with mighty spears
My drum in my heart beats loud with the touch to my thoughts of my great great grandfathers
Let my dream catcher find my ancestors and let them rest in stride, no longer guilty
As the feathers of courage float gently,be proudly remembered as the greatest fighting men
