Artemis and Dionysus in the Forest

Artemis and Dionysus in the Forest

Artemis blushed

When Dionysus whispered in her eaArtemis and Dionysus in the Forestr

‘rest your inhibitions

 sip from my cup

Feel my throbbing spear’

 winter woods

came alive with colors

Stars lit up the hemisphere

River thawed-- sang a ditty

 Trees recited Shakespeare

 But as they began coitus

  Tumult shook delight

From the wild and restless thunder

Artemis eyes lit up with fright

‘what has entered here, my lover?”

Dionysus, swiftly labored, sliding deeper

    inside the moist chasm

of her pleasure

spoke he in a whisper

‘soon peace will come,

No need to fear

we have dominion here’

From the bushes

Came a curious deer

Bright eyes

Pricked ear

 Moving swiftly

 scenting their Ambrosia

  and suddenly the Herbivore

 transformed

into a carnivorous bear

in a frenzy, he tore and fed

from his foot to her head,

wobbling back to his cavernous bed.

Then, so still and lifeless

came the wintery forest

 around the scattered pieces

of Artemis and Dionysus
