As If By Magic

As If By Magic

As If By Magic
You came to me
So sweet and loving
And loving to be
Standing to one side of me
we walked for miles
Talked for years
and even now
there's steady tears
that my hand never smears
here one day
and gone the next
I'll miss you always
and try my best
to be patient til I pass His Test
Until He calls me
home as well
and then I'll haveĀ
some tales to tell
To my best friends
Some have hooves,
Others Feathers
furry tails
and swimmy scales
All the love that that entales
As If by magic
you came to me
Then you left
And now you're free
And sitting at the bridge
Waiting for me
