Asthma Attack

Asthma Attack

Like a snake, you strike without warning

Vice grips tightening, constriction lurking

Body pulsating, Lungs weeping

Synchronicity like base beating

Loss of control, You have the power

To your command I will cower

Body weak, Breasts heavy, Lungs screaming

All I am every breath pleading

Paralyzed by panic and fear, Chest is tight

Give me strength, Ease my fight

Breath come back to me

I am powerless, You run the show

Making me feel every massive blow

Manipulate my temple, overpower my mind

Precious, Beautiful, This breath of mine

Without you I am nothing

Still, Gone, Rotting

Stop my heart, Bleed me out

Snap my neck, Torture me with doubt

But please Don't take my breath away

I see you, I hear you, I feel you, I need you

Not an addiction or a lover

Not a thrill or a delicious supper

You are my breath more powerful than all

Put me up against a wall or make me fall

But please don't leave me, That would be the worst fate of all
