Beneath the Earth
Crawling under the dark of soil trying to wiggle its way out
where fossils buried decades have passed some bones ancient
Where mass burials of Native American wars now cemetery for the dead
To live and to die for right or wrong an eye for an eye with the bugles song
The preachers sermon above with the sad faces of mourners among
Take heed to life as it is the purest and take a moment to watch the worm as it crawlsÂ
We love and we hate and we kill to survive
In the end we are all the same
Beneath the earth just dried up remains
Though the spirit of Mother Nature sings to all each day
from the heavens above
