BLINKERED

BLINKERED

BLINKERED.

Took a ginkgo walk
Passed the cherry trees in bloom
Brushed the petals off.

Sauntered past the lake
Ducks dove for tasty tit-bits
What a noise they make!

Sunshine on water
Made me turn my head away
Blinding to my eyes.

Park is in flower
Riotous colours blooming
Distracting my mind.

The birds are singing
Calling out to each other
I wish they would hush!

Need inspiration
Can't think of anything yet
Too much creation!

Depression

In deep sombre thoughts,
I meet demons in disguise,
Of hope, love and peace.
