Bound For Banality

The menacing mediums perpetuate fear
And some poor fickle fool heeds the call
And holds every word dear
To their callous, empty heart
Every wave transmitted is another vitriolic dart
In the head of the dead

Spoon fed on drivel
"Please sir, can I have some more?"
Because they like their world diluted
And If you dare speak sense
They'll pick up the hallowed rags
And use bold letters to refute it

Torn from the roots
Inside these institutes
You've lost your way
On the whim of the day
What happened to your mind
Where did it stray?

Save your dreams for tomorrow
And let them show you the horror
Life was born with a whimper
And it ends in sorrow

Torn from the roots
Inside these institutes
You've lost your way
On the whim of the day
What happened to your mind
Where did it stray?

Pig heads are prevalent
Seeking props for their stage show
Their grip is malign
Oh, the seeds they must sow
