Broken

To bottle that first electric shock to the system
Eye meeting eye, voice meeting voice
Allowing each other the chance to deny
Inhaling the essence, displaying our choice.
Capturing the savoury back, forth and lilt
Building blocks of desire from which passion is built.

Yet the unscented days they do just as kindly,
A smile from a stranger sometimes flips the heart,
Anything more would surely remind me
This one is broken, it cannot take part.
