BUCK MOON IN THE SKY

BUCK MOON IN THE SKY

We kissed beneath April’s Pink Moon

We spooned in the light of May’s Milk Moon

We made love under the Strawberry Moon of June

But on this night of the 19th of July

A Buck Moon’s going to appear in the sky

So put aside all that romance

Time for us to take off our pants

Now that I’ve scraped the velvet from my antlers

I’m nothing but a horny old feller

So brace yourself Ida Mae

There’s some nasty loving

A coming your way

This night of July 19th, will mark the appearance of the ‘Buck Moon.’  Folklore and mythology has named this full moon such because it marks the time that stags have scrapped the velvet from their antlers in preparation of the coming rut.  The Buck Moon was celebrated by our ancestors as a time when men would be men and declare their masculine dominion, while the women would laugh at this silly opinion.  Now excuse me, while I polish my antlers.  I so hope they impress the girls of Cosmofunnel.
