"Change Your Mind!"

"Active addicts have a problem,
accepting things,
just as they are,
and would rather,
drown their sorrows,
with other lost souls,
at a bar,
but those drugs,
just make stay,
those dark clouds of rain,
and are such,
a god awful way,
of coping with suffering and pain,
for to give your burdens,
to them,
only advances your rate of decay,
when it is so much,
more efficient and progressive,
to just give them,
to The Lord when you pray.

Using drugs,
only enhances,
your malady of reality,
but you could give recovery a chance,
because when sober and clean,
and you take some time,
and really give it all,
a second glance,
you will see,
you wasted valuable time,
and you were the culprit,
of your own crime,
and that Jesus has been pleading,
for you to stop feeding,
your temple that poison,
and has simply only asked,
'Please be mine?'
Because He loves fully,
all that you are,
and if you give yourself to Him,
you'll go so very far,
and He will help you,
start loving yourself again.
He is just lonely like you,
and just needs a true friend.

Just think of Him as you were,
all those times,
when you were alone,
and cried,
and wished,
on your last overdose,
you would've finally died.

He can help you,
this I completely believe,
but He is someone,
who has to be received,
because love is patient,
love is kind,
and I hope this helps to change your mind!"
