Song of Heaven

Ethereal
Celestial rest
Cathedrals with the tombs of knights
I feel heaven is so near
Yet remains so far
Angels pause to listen
To the choirs of Cherubim
Praising the Lord of Hosts
Triumphant and holy
Reigning in true glory
They whisper to mankind
Messages of divine intention
So we can survive the world
Keep darkness at bay
To keep it together
For another day
