Childhood to 1/2 a Century of Dreaming

Childhood to 1/2 a Century of Dreaming

I dream of being a veterinarian
I envision being a jockey
IĀ fantasizeĀ about being a horse
Mom?

I imagine myself a rock star
IĀ long to beĀ an Olympian
IĀ play at Indy race car driving
Dad?

I strive to run 25 miles each week
I struggle to read innumerable text books each semester
I crave to be different, excel at something
Teacher?

I experiment in music
I pursueĀ thespian endeavors
I travel the world
Professor?

IĀ find a soul mate
IĀ pursue a passion
I meet a mentor and BFF
What Now?

I acknowledge my accomplishments
I recognize past dreams unfulfilled
I decree my dreams are important
Guide?

I laugh
I love
I live
I am my dreams
