Close Your Eyes

Deep into the world we seek the spirit of who we are

As we close our eyes we can feel inside, the mounds of hope

Love, blood that flows so deep it moves

Like running water it trickles down and we swallow

Then we smell the earths scents, the leaves, the trees

Rivers, and lakes, the coolness of the wind that rides

Through our mind, as you close your eyes

I want you to see me with no color of skin, no image of body

No features to admire, just hear my voice

Feel my heart beat, as I want the inner being of you

Enter my inner being, then we connect, like a key to a lock

It opens up and we enter, then we give into ourselves

We are laminated by our energies, as they now, can't get out

Until we open our eyes, and now our bodies rise, we caress each other

With our arms, legs give in, to the depth of two entwined lotus flowers

Floating together in a deep  meditation

Where love has connected, and no other can find us

We are inspired by the richness of our inner souls that meet

My eyes now, are closed for your taking
