Your touch flooded my body 
Like heroin to a fiend
For that split second 
You felt like 
All I would ever need 

My eyes spoke words
My mouth could not speak
But eye contact is hard
When your buckling at the knees

But you picked me off the ground
Lifted me above the clouds 
Every time I was feeling down

Deliberately blind
Or perhaps
Only colour blind
Either way
I could’t make you mine

Its always been you
But for me thats nothing new
I just don’t know
how you never even knew
