Constantly

Constant efforts
answer the calls of
constant heartache

Constant heartbreak
calls for answers from
constant pain

When will love
stop being so demanding?
Please, I beg you to do so

Before I give up
I can't keep constantly
pretending to be okay

She made it clear
her presence will forever be
constantly gone

But yet the threat
of her not feeling the same
as she once did for me

Prevents me from
being able to be happy
constantly I'm reminded

Constantly I wish
I could rewind time and
instantly fix this heartbreak

But I cannot
my efforts are wearing thin
but I don't want to give up
