Poem -
Counting Sheep
I've written a poem
I've done it in rhyme
The content is sketchy
The tempo is fine.
I thought about Haiku
But I'm not that brave
And Japanese poets
Would turn in their grave!
I thought about sonnet
But had to admit
Unless you are Shakespeare
They all turn out shit.
I Want to be funny
I want to be deep
I dont want my writing
To send you to sleep.
And then I remembered
I wrote this for me
But if you are reading
You'llΒ have to agree
I need a better ending.
